English for Work

This tailor-made course provides a relaxed, engaging atmosphere for university staff to improve their English skills.

With an emphasis on conversation, participants particularly hone their fluency and confidence in speaking. Authentic materials stimulate the discussion and train participants’ listening skills. Based on individual needs, the course includes role plays of situations relevant to the participants or revisions of participants’ real-world writing tasks. Personalized feedback targets how each participant can train their grammar and vocabulary.

If you have taken the course in the past, you are welcome to participate again and continue improving your English: the course materials and content change every semester.

The course counts toward the Certificate of Intercultural Competence for administrative, technology, and lab personnel.
