Deutsch als Fremdsprache: Konversationstraining Grundstufe

This training is intended for students of German as a foreign language at a basic level who would like to build their conversation skills in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The main goal of this weekly meeting is to give participants the extra practice needed to become more fluent and confident in expressing themselves in daily life situations and at university. As each group is unique, the course will be tailored to the needs of the participants. Above all, the course should serve as an opportunity to practise oral skills at a level A1/A2 (CEFR), complementing the Einsteiger II, Grundkurs I and II courses.

Requirements

Requirements for acquisition of credit points

In order to receive credit points, candidates will

  • not be absent more than once,
  • prepare the topics for in-class discussions,
  • prepare and deliver one short talk,
  • actively participate in class activities.

You can get a total of 1 credit point.

Students are assessed by means of a portfolio (pass/fail).

Certificate of attendance

In order to receive a certificate of attendance (available on request) for this course, you are not allowed to be absent more than maximum one time.

Placement test

This course can be attended without a placement test. However, for your own orientation you are welcome to take a computer placement test at the Language Center prior to the course and enter your results in the registration form.

Replacement date

The supplementary replacement date for lessons that might not take place is: 01.12.2018 from 10h - 16h
