Deutsch aktiv: EinsteigerInnen intensiv

This course is aimed at students and employees at Basel University who want to learn German for their daily life in Basel and at University. Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of grammar and vocabulary. They also learn how to communicate effectively in private, professional and academic contexts.

Regular progress checks are an essential element of this course.

Within a brief period, the intensive and compact training guides participants to their first successes in German; it also allows participants to progress to Einsteiger II in the semester.

This intensive course is complemented by additional extracurricular events that facilitate exchanges among participants across courses and languages.
