English: Pronunciation for Clear Communication

To be understood by an international community of English users, it is necessary that you pronounce words and deliver sentences intelligibly. This private course offers a practical introduction to the many pronunciation skills needed for clear communication in English.

You can select from two modules of the course according to your aims:

Foundations – For those who must improve their pronunciation to make themselves understood:

Should you need to improve your general intelligibility, you will train how to produce individual sounds, combine difficult sounds, stress syllables within words, connect words and adapt intonation of sentences to fulfil different functions. No accent is prioritized over others and the aim is not to rid your English of traces of other languages.

Advanced – For those who wish to reduce traces of other languages from their English accent:

Should you wish to erase traces of other languages from your English accent, you will combine the exercises from the Foundations module with training that will align your accent with a major variant of spoken English.
