Deutsch als Fremdsprache: EinsteigerInnen II ONLINE

This course continues the course "EinsteigerInnen I" (if you have attended at least 8 sessions or 16 lessons). Learners with some German knowledge are invited to join this course after a short talk with the Language Center staff/ lecturer. Further fundamentals of grammar (e.g. modal verbs, perfect forms, pronouns, comparison) and vocabulary will be taught. Linguistic situations in University-, working- and personal life will be trained.

Regular progress checks are an essential element of this course.

This course will take place in virtual classrooms. To meet various requests in this regard, two to three face-to-face sessions are envisaged per course during the semester. This will depend on the evolving corona situation and available facilities.

Requirements

Requirements for acquisition of credit points

EinsteigerInnen I plus EinsteigerInnen II

In order to receive credit points, participants will

  • meet the requirements for EinsteigerInnen I,
  • participate actively in the course,
  • do homework regularly,
  • submit six short written assignments.

Please note:

  • There must not be more than two semesters between the EinsteigerInnen courses.
  • If you start directly in the EinsteigerInnen II course (after consultation with the lecturer), you are only eligible for half of the credit points.

You can get a total of 4 credit points.

Participants are assessed by means of a portfolio (pass/fail).

Certificate of attendance

In order to receive a certificate of attendance (available on request), you must participate actively in the course.

Placement test

This course can be attended without a prior placement test. If you do have some previous knowledge, please consult the Language Center.
