Deutsch als Fremdsprache: EinsteigerInnen II

This course continues the course "EinsteigerInnen I" (if you have attended at least 8 sessions or 16 lessons). Learners with some German knowledge are invited to join this course after a short talk with the Language Center staff/ lecturer. Further fundamentals of grammar (e.g. modal verbs, perfect forms, pronouns, comparison) and vocabulary will be taught. Linguistic situations in University-, working- and personal life will be trained.

Regular progress checks are an essential element of this course.

Should the progression of the pandemic allow it, classes will again be offered on site.

Requirements

Active participation is assumed.

In order to receive credit points, participants will

  • meet the requirements for EinsteigerInnen I,
  • not be absent more than twice (additional inevitable absences must be compensated in consultation with the lecturer),
  • do homework regularly,
  • submit six short written assignments.

Please note:

  • There must not be more than two semesters between the EinsteigerInnen courses.
  • If you start directly in the EinsteigerInnen II course (after consultation with the lecturer), you are only eligible for half of the credit points.

You can get a total of 4 credit points.

Participants are assessed by means of a portfolio (pass/fail).

Certificate of attendance

Active participation is assumed. In order to receive a certificate of attendance (available on request) for this course, you are not allowed to be absent more than twice.
Additional inevitable absences must be compensated in consultation with the lecturer.

Placement test

This course can be attended without a prior placement test. If you do have some previous knowledge, please consult the Language Center.

Replacement date
