Preparation: Cambridge C1 Advanced Booster

The "C1 Advanced Booster" is suited to advanced users who seek intensive and accelerated preparation for the "Cambridge English: C1 Advanced" exam. Participants will have the opportunity to develop and practice exam techniques for the four papers (Reading and Use of English, Writing, Listening and Speaking) and will be supported in their preparation based on previous exam papers. Although the course aims to prepare participants for the Cambridge exam, it can also be taken by those who seek to attain an advanced level of English without the certificate.

Participants needing grammar training can also attend English: Advanced Grammar and Vocabulary.
Participants needing speaking and writing training can also attend English: Speaking and Writing II.

Internal exam:
The Listening part of the internal exam will be held in the final course session. The written parts of the exam will be held on Friday 13 December 2019 (14:00-15:30). The room will be announced at a later date. All exam parts must be passed in order to receive ECTS.

External exam:
For dates and other details on the external examinations, please consult the Cambridge English Language Assessment website as well as the website of the examinations office where you wish to take the exam. In the case of Basel, this is Cambridge English Basel.
